Visited places:
More than a touristy destination, Normandie is an emotion, bouncing from marvel to horror.
Stage of the terrible clashes of the Second World War, many signs have been carefully preserved, in addition to the impressive images of thousands of graves.
On the other hand, much of the best of humanity has also been preserved and presents itself as a counterpoint.
Highlights in Normandie:
Mount St. Michel seems to be, with justice, the most visited monument in the world, and nearby Saint-Malo is worth a visit. The cemeteries, Arromanches and Longues-sur-Mer are reminiscent of war, while Bayeux celebrates peace.
