From the preparatory readings for the trip, nothing significant was found about the city. Therefore, we made a brief stop at the beautiful Praça da República, and continued on to the surroundings, where some details were recommended.

The monastery of Pombeiro dates back to the 11th century and underwent a profound renovation in the 18th century, which, however, did not make all the original features disappear. Unfortunately, on the day and time of our visit it was closed, and we could only enjoy it from the outside.

Another interesting point near the city of Felgueiras is the roman bridge of Arco.

Only a few meters distant from the main road, by a very narrow path, it is a small detail with wonderful landscape.
