It has large and comfortable rooms, and it was a good option for almost a week.

We were on half-board, and the variety and quality of the service was great.

A funny curiosity: In our visit to Furnas, we could see the typical Furnas stew being cooked specifically for our dinner.

Beach

Attached to the hotel is the excellent beach of Água de Alto. Although it is public (Portugal does not authorise private beaches), its use is almost exclusive, and access is very pleasant.

Chapel

In the hotel garden has been left intact an ancient chapel. It was closed, and I couldn’t read anything about it, but it’s a curious detail in excellent taste, in a very well designed and cared for garden.
