Vivaldo

Of the three restaurants that border Praia da Oura, Vivaldo is the most competitive. Halfway in terms of price, it uses a 20% discount card policy that tries to retain customers. The discount is only valid for dinner, when the snacks that allow a cheap lunch come out of the menu. We used this restaurant for both meals and liked it. Although simpler, the cheap lunch snacks had quality, and the more elaborate dinner, with the aforementioned discount, was only a little more expensive. Despite the high traffic, the service was reasonable.

A terrace that extends along the Oura beach is, for the most part, occupied by this restaurant with Chinese cuisine. Already last year we ate there several times, and we returned this year. The kitchen is unpretentious, but well-kept and varied enough to satisfy a wide range of tastes, including difficult children’s choices. Good price and attentive service.

A little away from the beach, but very close to the most intense nightlife area, this small restaurant serves Italian food to eat in or take away. We ate on site, a good risotto and well served pizzas. Service not very expeditious but friendly, with staff dedicated to serving with sympathy and learning Portuguese. Appropriate price, we will return without reservations, if provided.
