Two Canary Islands – Almost Africa
After the disappointment due to a arid island, when we expected a tropical vegetation, we started to appreciate the Spanish professionalism to transform sun in tourism.
Canariy islands are a hard job, with a reasonable success., at least in the two islands that we visited – Gran Canaria and Tenerife
We spent a week in Gran Canaria in Playa de lngles, close to Maspalomas.
Renting a car, we made the tour of the island, visiting, Las Palmas Mogan, and Puerto de Mogan.
Travelling with children we couldn’t miss Palmitos and Sioux City parks.
However, beach dominated the vacation
After a week in Gran Canaria, we moved to playa de las Americas, in Tenerife.
The same arid landscape, but with little differences, with evidence to the green Orotava valley, the beauty city of Puerto de la Cruz, or the dramatic ascent to Teide.
Not bad, but to be honest, once seen… its seen!
