Having passed through Aragon so many times, I only stopped once, to show my children the Monastério de Piedra. I came back to show it to the grandchildren, and I used the trip to the always postponed visit to Zaragoza. Liked it!.

It was a pity not to have more time in Zaragoza.

In a very superficial visit, I was enchanted by the imposing cathedral, and the interesting surrounding area.

It is amazing how nature and man have managed to build such a stunning oasis in one of the most arid regions of Spain.

Lakes, waterfalls, tunnels all combine to compose in Monasterio de Piedra one of the most pleasant natural complexes I had the privilege of visiting.
