Torres Vedras – Graça garden
Located right in the center of the city, this small garden square is considered a national monument, not for technical or material reasons, but for its history.
Surrounded by some of the most significant buildings in the city, it can be considered its living room.
South of the garden you may visit Graça church and the municipal museum.
Built during the Christian reconquest of the territory, the church of São Pedro was rebuilt in the 16th century.
Despite the 1755 earthquake that required a new reconstruction, many of the original details were maintained, and since 1910 it has been classified as a national monument.
