Eating in Loures
After a couple of years skipping it, Salero became to our family (living nearby) the natural first suggestion when we decide to eat out. Excellent food, mixing well creative and traditional recipes, good service, nice ambiance, and a moderate price, always combine to the full satisfaction after each visit.
If you need to eat north of Lisbon this is a perfect solution.

Ninety percent of the large properties belonging to the wealth people in the good old days were acquired by the state or dismantled to allow urban plans for mass building.
The few that remain depend on tourism to survive, merging the aristocratic image with a qualified service, either as a hotel or a restaurant.
This is the case of this restaurant, where we had the first (good) lunch of 2015.
Nice place, kind service, good food, and a reasonable price. It’s interesting to read the history of the place, as stated in their internet page.
Favorite Dish: We were seven, tasted several dishes and all of them were approved. “Broa de bacalhau” and “tornedó à casa” shared the first place.
