The approximately 30 km that separate Lisbon from Cascais feature a series of beaches, which are very popular with locals.

Carcavelos, despite the distance from the train station, is the most popular.

A regular sea allows all kinds of water sports.

We had lunch on a June holiday, which means an inevitable mess in Carcavelos. We waited a while, and only when we tried to give up, did an available table appear.

Although the list was short, the service took a while, and it was served with good presentation and friendliness.

I chose a beef kebab, which had different pieces, some quite hard. Overall, I noticed an effort to serve well, but not very well succeeded. Maybe on another visit…

A reasonable restaurant, with prices reflecting the proximity of the beach, even in low season, when we were there. The service was professional, eased by the low frequency of the day.
