We skipped
Before leaving to Bruges I read carefully the main tips in Virtual Tourist, dedicating a special attention to a tip of phoaquinjoenix, that, living in town, presented a large selection of cheap restaurants. In their list, and imagining my trip along town, I registered two options: If we were still around Markt by lunchtime, I would try Porto Romano (I’m Portuguese, and I like to support our countrymen all around the world).
However, in my plan, we should be closer to Zilverpand by that time, and there, the option should be Bocca.
Well, my plans were confirmed, and we went to it, to verify that it should be so cheap, that a long line stretched in the walkway. Time was short, and we decided to risk Juliette, next door, for sure with a higher standard in prices. However, I must congratulate phoaquinjoenix (a couple, I think) for their help. As a matter of fact the lines should move quickly (it is also a take-away), and when we finished there was no one outside.
Porto Romano

In a nice spot
Well, my plans were confirmed, and we were far from P. Romano by lunch time, but, using the 2700 seconds that Fernanda needed in Zara, I had to peep in the area, to verify that the restaurant is located in one of the most beautiful corners of town, out of the beaten path. A strong reason to take my team to lunch in this restaurant in our next visit to town.

Good choice
As explained above, I had plans to chose between two other restaurants, but none could do, because we went to Bocca, to verify that it should be so cheap, that a long line stretched in the walkway. Time was short, and we decided to risk this one, next door, for sure with a higher standard in prices.
It was a good decision – the ambiance was warm and gentle, the food was good, and the price, even with wine, very reasonable.
Favorite Dish: Stake tartar
