Visiting Cape Canaveral
It was extremely interesting to visit the NASA facilities.
Guided tour, as it had to be for safety reasons, did not fail to convey a sense of freedom, and the emotion of being so close to many of man’s greatest achievements.
In Florida we noticed the extreme care in controlling thunderstorms, and the tight security measures.
It also happened here, when the visit to a very vertical, rocket like a lightning rod was canceled due to the announcement of thunderstorms.
The children’s great enthusiasm was an innovative ice cream, with a texture of small balls, and that… tasted like ice cream.
We’ve never found anything like it anywhere else, so either it was an abandoned project or it’s a NASA exclusive.
