Pestana Beach Resort – good to sleep in Água de Alto

This is an excellent hotel, requiring a car as it is isolated, but with a great location. It stays just minutes away from almost everything, overlooking a nice, almost private beach.

It has large and comfortable rooms, and it was a good option for almost a week.

We were on half-board, and the variety and quality of the service was great.

A funny curiosity: In our visit to Furnas, we could see the typical Furnas stew being cooked specifically for our dinner in the hotel.
