Exotic garden of Kenitra

My only reason for a stop here was the garden.
It is strange such a luxurious garden in the arid environment, and it is nice to spend half an hour without nobody trying to sell you something.
As a matter of fact, my guide indicated the garden in this village, but it is located very near, in Bouknadel.
It was created in 1952 by a French horticultural engineer gathering exotic plants from all over the world.
In a country where desert prevails, it was a refreshing visit, in the first time I visited Morocco.
It seems to have been abandoned after his death for about 20 years, but the family decided to rebuild it, and it is open to visit again.
