This is an old village, near the northern end of Alto Alentejo, between Mora, the county seat, and Arraiolos.

Transition zone, already with some affinities with the Ribatejo, although maintaining the typical image of the Alentejo, it is not very sought after, and, being outside the main tourist circuits, with little passing tourism.

Highlights in Pavia:

The churches, with the mother church highlighted, and the curious dolmen turned into a chapel.
