Sangalhos is a parish in the municipality of Anadia, in the heart of Bairrada, halfway between Coimbra and Aveiro.
Without major tourist arguments for many years, this village established itself in the production of Bairrada wines, which today earned it some recognition.
Highlights in Sangalhos:
Today it is an important center for wine tourism, mainly through the Aliança cellars, which, with their Underground Museum, began to attract tourists indifferent to wine.
