Founded in the 2nd century BC and with a growing importance that led it to be considered one of the 10 largest cities in the world, the vicissitudes of history have degraded it until it became the small village that it is today, halfway between Palmanova and Grado .
The ruins that are being excavated are so promising that UNESCO declared them a World Heritage Site.
