With a history that dates back to the Hellenistic period, the city has managed to keep its structure of well-connected streets intact and preserve the traditional architecture.

Over the centuries, elements of other styles were added, from Romanesque to Baroque, with particular emphasis on the widespread Venetian style.

Not far from Sibenik and even closer to Split, Trogir is UNESCO World Heritage since 1997.

The whole city is easy and pleasant to visit, with the cathedral of Saint Lawrence and the Kamerlengo fort justifying special attention.
