Located about 10 km from Sibenik, Krka National Park  covers an area of more than 140 square km, and its top attraction are the magnificent waterfalls, including one of Croatia’s most famous sights, called Skradinski Buk .

At a distance of 10 km from Sibenic, the huge Krka Park (more than 140 km2), is a major attraction, attracting thousands of visitors.

Could this high demand have led to the decision by the authorities to ban what people were most excited about – bathing in the most spectacular of its waterfalls.

Admission is expensive, but includes a round trip by boat.

Highlights in Krka Park:

The river and its waterfalls, the lake and islands, the diverse fauna and flora.
