Croatia is a country in the martyred Balkan region, bordering Slovenia to the northwest, Hungary to the northeast, Serbia to the east, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro to the southeast and sharing a maritime border with Italy on the Adriatic.

Bathed by the calm Adriatic, this is a small and beautiful country where tourism imposes itself after years of turmoil and conflict, here and there still noticeable.
