Mount Nebo is a minor visit for an atheist, but of great significance for religious people.
With views over the Holy Land which, in good weather, can extend to Jerusalem and the Jordan River, locally it only has a few recently discovered ruins, with evidence for a few mosaics.
Outside, some additions, such as the Serpentine Cross, show the religious meaning of the place.
Mount Nebo Highlights:
The historical and religious significance, good views and good access, with Madaba and the Dead Sea nearby.
