More than 400 meters below sea level, acting as border between Jordan and Israel, the Dead Sea is a natural wonder, capable of surprising and delighting children and adults alike.
With a tremendous level of salinity and a high temperature, bathing is a fun challenge (and a dangerous one, if the precautions clearly and seriously recommended in bathing places are not taken).
The whiteness of the salt crystallizing on the banks, in contrast to the black mud at the bottom, is impressive.
Dead Sea Highlights:
The bath, of course, and the wait while the women explore the immensity of salts and miraculous mixtures derived from the sea and for sale as soon as you get out of the imperious freshwater shower.
